Connecticut License Plates Help Control Animal Population
April 26, 2004 3:11 a.m. Monday

Did you know the state of Connecticut offers an animal population control license plate?

Part of the proceeds from the sales of these plates provides vaccination/sterilization benefits for any Connecticut resident who adopts through the Animal Population Control Program. In other words, when you adopt through the program, you'll receive a voucher good for spaying or neutering and two pre-surgery vaccinations necessary for sterilization. And, since most vets in Connecticut participate in this program, it shouldn't be difficult to find one who accepts the vouchers.
