Give a Dog A Home

K9 Haven in California
March 06, 2004 9:35 p.m. Saturday

I was cleaning out my saved links list and found one for K9 Haven, a rescue group in Santa Clara, California. They provide care and rehoming for small dogs under 25 lbs.

They have some really good information at their website. This is worth reading if you have a small breed dog: Common health issues for small dogs.

Information on plants, foods and household items that are poisonous to your pet can be found here.

You can find a list of tips on what to do if you lose your dog or if you find one on this page.

And, last but not least, they currently have two small doggies available for adoption. Lady O'Hara, a shy female Spaniel mix who would probably do best in a female-only home, and Hoppie, a friendly male Cockapoo.
