License Plates for MA ResidentsFebruary 17, 2004 1:25 a.m. Tuesday
For those of you living in Massachusetts, a new license plate is available that will help fund free and low cost spay & neuter programs across the state.
The license plates cost $40. $28 of this will go towards the programs. As of February 3rd, 1204 orders have been received. They need to get 1500 pre-orders to start manufacturing the plates so go order yours now!
You can find out more information and download an application for your plate at the Massachusetts Animal Coalition website.
UPDATE: They have received 1397 orders as of March 26 so they expect the plates will be available by the end of June.
EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS: As of May 2nd, they have the 1500 preorders that were needed. A huge thank you to everyone who ordered a license plate! And thanks to my friend Betty for letting me know they reached their goal!
