Since I (finally!) updated the page for Shih Tzu Rescue Links, I thought I would highlight one of the groups listed there (I also added a couple more links to the Shopping to Help Rescue page):
Furever Shih Tzu Rescue is a member of the national Shih Tzu Rescue group. Although they're located in St Louis, they have volunteers and foster homes in other states such as Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Kansas. Please click the link above to find out more about their organization. There is some really good general information about adoption and rescue there as well.
One of their dogs, a Shih Tzu named Hallie has some serious injuries and is in need of surgery.
