Give a Dog A Home

Mason County Animal Shelter, WV
March 06, 2004 11:56 a.m. Saturday

The photo isn't that good but Skyla is a Pomeranian/Schipperke mix who was left in the night drop box at the Mason County Animal Shelter in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

This one really breaks my heart. This shelter is located in a rural part of West Virginia and euthanizes animals by using a gas chamber. Since July 2002, they have been listed on Petfinder and have saved nearly 200 puppies and dogs, thanks to the shelter staff, volunteers, and their adoptive families. This is a rescue friendly shelter so please contact them if your group can help.

You can view a list of their adoptable cats and dogs here.

Thanks for clicking!
