There are two Shih Tzu in the Dewey Animal Shelter in Las Vegas who need to be adopted. One of them is a small senior female who needs a bath -- her chances of being adopted by the public are pretty slim -- and the other is a 2 yr old male Shih Tzu mix who only has until Thursday 10/02 to be adopted.
UPDATE: Well, the happy news is that the younger male Shih Tzu was adopted and the senior was claimed by her owner. Woo hoo!
There is a young male Shih Tzu in the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control East Valley Animal Care Center in Mesa, Arizona.
And there's a young female Shih Tzu in Los Angeles County animal control in Carson, California.
