Give a Dog A Home

Katie, a Lhasa Apso in Michigan
January 23, 2004 1:44 a.m. Friday

So many dogs to post...

Katie is a female Lhasa Apso currently at the Almost Home Animal Rescue League in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She had been turned into the local animal shelter because her owner could no longer care for her after his wife died and he lost his job. Katie has been diagnosed with Cushing's disease, which can be treated, although it is expensive. Please click the link for more information on adopting Katie or to find out how to contribute to her medical fund.

UPDATE (from Katie's Petfinder page): We are not accepting any more applications for Katie. Thanks to everyone who applied and offered support.
