Give a Dog A Home Quentin Gets a Second ChanceAugust 08, 2003 5:25 a.m. Friday Dog given second chance at life after surviving euthanization bid! A dog was put in to the gas chamber to be euthanized at the St Louis animal control facility and he survived. The animal control supervisor didn't have the heart to try gassing him again so she notified a rescue group. They took him in and have named him Quentin for California's San Quentin Prison.
